With its almost timeless design, Ellen is an obvious choice for outdoor living – whether enjoyed in the garden, on the balcony, or in front of the summer house.
The story of Ellen dates back to the couple Hard and Ellen, who, generations ago, had a summer house in Solrød Strand – a classic seaside town south of Copenhagen.
They loved outdoor living and hosting guests on the terrace, where conversations flowed in garden furniture much like today’s Ellen set.

LOVED THROUGH GENERATIONS
The previous owner of Cinas, Christian, often sat on Hard and Ellen’s terrace, enjoying both the conversations and the atmosphere. When he later took over Cinas, he brought the idea for the Ellen set with him – inspired by many moments spent under the open sky, he created the Ellen series.
Ellen is crafted from teak slats and powder-coated aluminium – a combination that gives the set a warm and inviting character. It consists of a classic folding chair with rounded shapes and a matching table, available in several sizes and with different frame colours.
Everything is easy to fold and store away when space is tight or the season draws to a close. Ellen is made for sunny lunches, long afternoons in the shade – and to be used again and again. Generation after generation.

A table in several sizes – for different needs. The Ellen table is designed for outdoor living in many forms and settings.
The round design gives a natural lightness, but it is the size that determines where the table fits best.
The Ellen table comes in four sizes. The smaller versions suit more compact outdoor spaces, while the larger ones require more space and are best suited for terraces and gardens where there is room to gather more people around the table.
The tabletop in solid teak is divided into beautiful, radial slats that follow the table’s shape and emphasise the round expression.
Together with the slender aluminium frame, a light and harmonious design is created, where the materials play together naturally.
The result is a table that invites long meals, conversations, and togetherness – and which blends quietly into the outdoor space, whatever the surroundings.
