At Cinas, many of our products are created in close collaboration with talented designers who contribute new ideas, shapes and details – both for individual pieces and for entire collections.
Other products and series are rooted in timeless stories – such as our classic Ellen collection – where the story behind the product is just as essential to its identity as the design itself.
We value both approaches to creating products. Together, they form collections where heritage and renewal go hand in hand.
Whether the starting point is a designer’s creative vision or a story that has followed us through time, the ambition remains the same: to create products defined by function, quality and an expression that endures – year after year.

The People Behind Our Design
BERTIL STAM
Scandinavian Design for Everyday Life
Bertil Stam is a trained industrial designer from the Aarhus School of Architecture and has since worked internationally with product and furniture design in both Europe and Asia.
With a background as Head of Design in Vietnam and collaborations with several renowned brands in the Scandinavian furniture industry, he combines strong design principles with deep knowledge of production and materials.
His particular understanding of Eastern materials—and his Nordic design heritage—perfectly matches the Cinas story. At its core, it’s about building bridges between materials, expertise, and production in the Far East and the Scandinavian design tradition.
Bertil is behind the Eye and Parc collections and our unique balcony table, and he continuously contributes to the further development and refinement of our existing collections.
At Cinas, Bertil is a central figure in developing new designs, and more products bearing his creative signature will be launched under the Cinas name in the future.

The Mood collection brings together aluminium frames with warm teak details, creating a durable and elegant setting for outdoor living.
